Hi, it’s so nice to meet you!
I’m Sharon! My husband Tom and I have two daughters, Katie (middle) and Karyn (front) pictured here with me (back). The girls are busy raising precious babies with their husbands; the grand babies keep us on our toes and fill our lives with joy.
I am grateful to be here. I depend on God daily for peace and joy to embrace this journey as we navigate towards our eternal home.
You didn’t think this life was all there is, did you?
C.S. Lewis said, “Has this world been so kind to you that you should leave with regret? There are better things ahead than any we leave behind.”
I think on those better things a lot. I wonder what God has planned (the Bible says it is GOOD, beyond anything we can imagine, for those who love him.)
I’ve always enjoyed writing. I planned to study journalism with Spanish in the local university. I detoured to Bible college and it changed the course of my life.
Since Bible college I’ve worked in Christian higher education, as a business manager and human resource professional in the medical field, and as an administrative assistant serving our local church.
What is this blog about?
I’m asking myself that as I watch clouds scatter on a blue sky over a waving field of hay outside my window. Quiet leadership? Life experiences? Encouragement? Essential oils, nature photos, and fun diy pop-on nails tossed in? Some simple piano music, too? I trust you’ll find some encouragement, a dash of hope, and reminders that God’s purposes can be trusted.
Thanks for visiting my website!
May our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who loved us and by his grace gave us eternal encouragement and good hope, encourage your hearts and strengthen you in every good deed and word.
